PS3 - EyePet Tops UK Sales This Week
Although the release of EyePet in the US suffered a delayed to 2010, it managed to release on time in Europe. And much to everyone's surprise, it was actually a hit in Amazon. Priced at GBP 24.99, EyePet/PSEye combo managed to become one of the top selling PS3 titles on the chart for this recent week, which is quite impressive given that it competed with other popular titles like Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, and FIFA 10. The game placed number 3 in the overall charts.
For those who are unfamiliar with the EyePet, it is basically an augmented reality game that provides lot of interactivity wherein you can take care of either a kitten or a cute monkey. Although the game takes on a more casual approach, it seem to suit the taste of UK gamers quite well. The North American version's release date is yet to be finalized.
