PS3 - F.E.A.R. 2 Banned Down Under, Warner Bros. To Appeal
Excessive amount of blood was cited as one of the reasons that led to the banning of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin by Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC).
The level of violence present in the game reportedly impacted the decision, as the OFLC cited the title as “unsuitable for a minor to play”. Other reason pointed out was the “significant blood detail”. Hence, it cannot be rated as MA 15.
Thus, it lead Warner Bros. to appeal the said decision by the Board and are looking for ways to have the said title be released in Australia. We'll give you updates on the development of this report, so make sure to check back again.
