PS3 - Fallout 3 DLC "Nearly Done", No Release Date Yet

Here's a mix of good and bad news for you PS3 guys, courtesy of Bethesda.

First off, the good news. They have confirmed that the DLC for the PS3 version of Fallout 3, titled Operation: Anchorage, is nearing completion. The bad news is that a release date has yet to be identified.

Pete Hines of Bethesda said that it took them a lot more time developing the DLC for the PS3 version as compared to the other platform versions. He further detailed,

“It's a different platform with a different way of doing things and it requires special attention and plenty of testing before it's released.” Then, he added, “We are trying to put the finishing touches on it now, but as I said above it's a different task than DLC on another platform, and so there are things we have to finish doing and testing before it's done on PS3.”

Operation: Anchorage was supposed to be released late this month but it is impossible that the DLC is going to make the release window. We'd be buzzing you on the latest info once we have a firm release date.
