PS3 - Fight Night Round 4 Getting Button Controls Via DLC?
The analogue sticks do play a major role in enabling your fighter to execute punches and other movements in Fight Night Round 4. But as producer Brian Hayes has revealed, “there is no option for face button punching in the final version, but we are investigating providing the option via DLC.”
The next question would then be whether the DLC will be available for free or not. If in case gamers would have to end up paying for those button-mapped controls, then this should launch a frenzy among fans, particularly directed towards EA.
If you can recall Fight Night Round 3's Online Mode, it was tarred by purists who tagged the game's button play as “cheap”. We will surely provide you with more definite information on this as soon as EA officials spoke out some more.
