PS3 - Final Fantasy XIII 2008 Release Uncertain

After all the hype surrounding Final Fantasy 13, many people have believed (and hoped) that Square Enix will gear the said title up for a 2008 release on the Sony PlayStation 3. While there have been a few details released here and there with regards to the game, Square Enix has not given any confirmation yet as to whether or not FF13 will indeed be released this year.

Final Fantasy 13 director, Motomu Toriyama, has detailed that he hopes to get a demo for the game out this year. He also promised to give fans more details with regards to Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy Versus 13 within the year. But none was said about the game's release, or more specifically, as to whether it would hit store shelves by 2008.

We are not saying, however, that Final Fantasy 13 will not be released until 2009 or beyond. Who knows, Square Enix might just decide to ship the finished products this year for fans to enjoy. While there's been no announced release dates yet, keep it here as we'll give you updates when we have them!
