PS3 - Firmware 2.30 Now Available
As promised the latest firmware update is now available via the Network Update in the PS3's Settings menu.
The main changes in this update are some new support options for those with high end audio systems and, most importantly, the newly revised PlayStation Store.
I have already updated myself and some of the images do take a moment to load at first, probably due to the number of people accessing to check things out ASAP. This will not be a problem as the PS3 stores the images for quicker loading the next time. Regular store updates will resume this coming Thursday- considering the amount of time it's been expect this to be a big one!
