PS3 - GAME Opts For Morning Launch

In part due to concerns about public safety GAME has decided to not have a midnight launch for the PS3. Instead, they will be opening at 7 AM. This was felt to be a good move as gamers would be able to access public transportation as well as have less fear of being assaulted for their system.
As a bit of a bonus for the early risers the first 150 customers that preordered a system at the Oxford Street location are being invited around for breakfast. Yes, you read that right. Those people will have a free breakfast of bacon butties, pastries and coffee, and Sony goodie bags.
The store will be open to all customers at 9 AM. GAME´s marketing director, Anna Macario said, ¨The launch of the PS3 is a big deal to our customers. We are managing the launch so it is safe for them, and the only thing they have to concentrate on is securing their new console.¨
