PS3 - GTA IV Development "Essentially Complete": EA's Riccitiello
In a recent conference call, EA CEO John Riccitiello has revealed: “We expect the development of GTA is essentially complete.” Furthermore, he adds that the company's move on Take-Two's business will not affect the release of an “important” game such as GTA.
Riccitiello also cites that “This is a very good deal for Take-Two shareholders,” while explaining that Take-Two has an uncertain future due to some legal, scale, and operative issue.
He also adds that “the time is right to do the deal now...It represents certainly for Take-Two's investors.”
Electronic Arts seems to be especially eager to snap up Take-Two- it isn't often you see someone talk about the development of a title from a competing publisher. It is still up in the air if it will happen but when it does we will bring you the word ASAP!
