Yamauchi and the entire crew at Polyphony Digital who are working on GT5 Prologue is out with a major update for the said title to welcome the month of August. Making its debut is Gran Turismo TV (GTTV) which is a pack that contains several improvements to enhance your entire racing experience.

If you do not have an idea what GTTV is all about, it is basically GT 5 Prologue's in-game video service system that enables you to watch either free or pay-per-view broadcasts. For the initial couple weeks, you can watch PPV videos for only US 0.99. As soon as the promo expires, the charge will increase to US 1.99. As was hinted by the folks from Polyphony, the HD broadcasts look stunning, and hence making it a worthy purchase.

For you to have a clear idea, the content for the said broadcast will span from Japan's “Best Motoring” to UK's “Top Gear” shows. Aside from that, you can also watch exclusive features on Yamauchi as he makes his way to the Ferrari factory in Italy.

But wait, there's more! The game's developers have also “fixe[d] in penalty judgments, more tire choices for Time Trial and improved physics during collisions between cars during online races.”
