PS3 - Guitar Hero: World Tour Dated Down Under
The Guitar Hero franchise is one of Activision Blizzard's most lucrative franchises after it has sold millions with each release, making it a musical phenomenon in the gaming industry.
The latest offering of Guitar Hero World Tour aims to rival Rock Band as it includes guitars, drums, and vocals into the entire set. Good news to all Australian gamers because while the game has not seen a release date for the rest of the world, the Australian version is confirmed on November 12, 2008.
The Australian release date was revealed at a recent Activision press conference held at New Zealand. The publisher, however, promised that announcements for the global release of the game will soon follow. Aside from the release date, they also announced four more tracks included in the game which includes Los Lobos' "La Bamba", Bullet for My Valentine's "Scream Aim Fire", Lacuna Coil's "Our Truth", and Aussie's very own "The Living End".
This will certainly be pleasing news for Aussie gamers since they still haven't got their hands on Guitar Hero rival, Rock Band, despite the fact that it was released in the US way back last year.
