PS3 - Have Sony Killed eBay profiteering ?
This week has seen many of the large European retailers confirming that following the disaster that surrounded the European launch of the Xbox360, with huge numbers of people having to wait months for the console the pre-ordered, they are now confident that they can supply everyone who pre-ordered a PS3 with one on launch day.
This introduces an interesting problem for those people who only pre-ordered a PS3 to immediately sell it for a huge profit on eBay !
If everyone who wants one can have one, then why would anyone want to pay twice the price for one on eBay ?
I have spoken to a few retailers who have confirmed that so long as you get your pre-order in this week, you should be OK for a console... so if you are still tempted, now is the time to decide !
