PS3 - Home Beta Site Launched
Thanks to MCWHAMMER for pointing this one out. As mentioned in the article about the just- announced PlayStation Home, an online community on the PlayStation 3 coming this fall, plans are there to have a closed beta test starting between April and August. Well, you may want to add a site to your bookmarks- the signup site is up and running.
Before all the PS3 owners out there go rushing in, they are not taking signups yet. However, the site does say to keep checking back as they could start any day with little announcement. Signing up is no guarantee of being a part of it, either- they will only be picking a portion of the submissions they recieve to take part. Having been in a couple of beta tests on Sony systems myself, I will say your odds will get a bit better if you have your system registered with Sony. Details on that came with the system.
