PS3 - Hot Shots Golf/ Everybody's Golf Getting Updated
It has been a while since any more additions have been made to Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds/ Everybody's Golf: World Tour. Sony and Clap Hanz are making up for that tonight, however- they have a big one coming!
This update will be coming at Midnight Eastern time tonight, at which time the online play will be temporarily unavailable. Here's what's coming up:
New Character- they are making way for a new character to be made available for purchase. This will most likely be in the Novice level to makes things even at 6 apiece. No word on any details, however, so this is a bit of speculation regarding the level.
Participation Prizes - Getting tired of playing in G3, G2, G1 and G0 tourneys and coming up just short of the prizes? That won't be a problem now as there will now be participation prizes made available for those that enter the tourneys. Of course, this will not be available in GF tours as they do not award prizes.
Trophy Functionality - Not quite what you were thinking when you say the word "trophy". When you win a tour (G3, G2, G1 or G0) you will be prsented a trophy to show off to your friends. This will be viewable for 12 hours.
Photo Functionality - Wish you could have grabbed a screenshot of that great shot you made? Now you will be able to! This will be an available option during the tournament score and award screens.
Player Achievement Display - Before a Real Tournament starts you will be able to see more of what a player has done before the tourney starts. Nice bit to give you a heads up on what sort of competition you are facing.
Best Score - You will now be able to see your best score per course in your profile.
Online Avatar Parts - Finally, they will be adding more avatar parts to the collection to make for some even wilder combinations.
This is the biggest update the game has had yet. I don't know about you but I'm looking forward to checking this out!
