PS3 - Insomniac Opening New Studio
Over on the official US Sony blog Ted Price, head of Insomniac, announced to all they were opening a new development studio in the Raleigh- Durham area of North Carolina.
It will focus on developing both current and new intellectual property, and will open its doors in January 2009. The North Carolina group, which will also be known as Insomniac Games, will receive administrative and engine, tools and technology support from the team here in southern California.
Serving as Studio Director for the new digs will be Art Director Chad Dezern while Shaun McCabe, lead programmer for the single player campaign of the upcoming Resistance 2, will act as Production Director.
