PS3 - Japan Getting Silver 40 GB PS3- Dual Shock 3 Not Included
On March 6 Japanese gamers will have another color choice for their PS3- satin silver. retail price on the shiny goodness is ¥39,980 (USD$374). The system looks quite slick in silver- I wouldn't get hopes up on it making its way outside the region, however.
One thing that is a bit puzzling is the system still comes with a standard Sixaxis controller instead of the Dual Shock 3, which has been available in Japan for several months now. Gamers wanting to have a matching DS3 will have to shell out another ¥5500 (USD$50). One would think by now they would be able to make the switch but maybe the supply isn't as large as they would like to do so.
