Yes, Jeopardy is hitting the store today as it celebrates its 25th year on tv in its current form. Some of the features in the game will include:
* More than 2,500 clues and categories randomized for multiplayer games.
* Single-player games versus AI with three levels of difficulty (Average, Smart and Genius).
* Online and offline multiplayer games.
* Voice chat for online multiplayer games.
* Expansion packs with new content (coming in 2009).
One thing that is a bit different (as you will notice in the video above) is the game gives you multiple choice answers. The reasoning for this was two-fold: it was felt that having the answers typed in using the on-screen keyboard would be clunky and result in games running too long and, while voice recognition was an option, this would have possibly excluded those that do not have a bluetooth/ usb headset or the PlayStation Eye. The answers are not shown until you actually buzz in so the risk is still there.
