PS3 - Kane & Lynch Sequel Coming
SCi CEO Jane Cavanagh has detailed that a sequel to Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is already on the works despite the fact that the said game has not been released yet, this is according to a CVG report. Apparently, Eidos have faith that the game would be as successful as Hitman.
Cavanagh states, “We've already got Kane & Lynch 2 in production, which just goes to show the belief we have in it as a long-term franchise.” IO Interactive, which is the developer for Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (which will be released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC), also developed the successful Hitman series.
Apparently, Eidos is giving Kane & Lynch: Dead Men much support as it is putting in more money for the game's marketing drive than it did for the Tomb Raider series.
