PS3 - Konami Announces Metal Gear Online Tournament
As of the moment, there is approximately 100,000 users registered for Metal Gear Online worlwide. If you think you have the skills to outlast all the others, then this might be your time to shine.
During an announcement made by Konami via press wire, they are set to embark on a Metal Gear Online tourney which all MGS fans can partake in. Gamers from all over US, Europe, Japan and Asia can participate in the MGO World Championship 2008 event.
There will be separate regional championships within each region. The winners will get an all expense paid trip to Japan so they can compete in the finals, which will be held at The Tokyo Game Show.
If you succeed, you will not only get to fly to Japan but even partake in one the hottest annual gaming events in the industry.
The event has been scheduled this summer, and the US regional championship will be held on July 24 to 27 during the Comic-Con at the San Diego Convention Center. For the contest details in Europe, details will be announced later through Konami's official MGO website.
