PS3 - Major League Gaming, UbiSoft Team Up In Rainbow Six: Vegas 2
Major League Gaming (MLG) has just confirmed that it will be working with Ubisoft for the development of its upcoming title, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC).
To celebrate this new partnership, they have included a map which depicts an MLB event at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the game. Apparently, MLG and Ubisoft have collaborated in developing the map, which was designed with competitive gaming in mind.
The President and CEO of Major League Gaming, Matthew Bromberg, has revealed that he's just as excited to show the map to the members of the gaming community. He further states:
“We were thrilled that Ubisoft chose MLG to collaborate on the development of a map specially designed for competitive gamers. Rainbow Six was a terrific addition to our Pro Circuit last year, and we can't wait to turn our millions of Pro Circuit, online and TV fans onto this new game.”
This collaboration is seen as a result of the level of competitiveness that has brewed from multiplayer gaming in both live and online environments. Therefore, stay tuned here more updates on Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, which will be having a special release event and will also be featured at the 2008 MLG Pro Circuit.
