PS3 - Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Has Third Person Mode
A leaked footage for Modern Warfare 2 circulated around the internet, which hinted at the possibility of the game featuring a third person viewpoint. This prompted Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling to step out and confirm the news to everyone. Indeed, Bowling reaffirmed that third person mode for the game.
According to Bowling, “3rd Person is a new playlist mode in Multiplayer. So you can play your favorite playlists [or] game types, like Team Deathmatch just standard, or in Hardcore mode ([with] limited HUD and increased bullet damage) or in the new 3rd Person mode, which means you and everyone in the game is in 3rd person.”
Being in the 3rd Person playlist deprives you of the ability to toggle in and out, such that you are stuck in third person, which gives fans another way to play the game.
Meanwhile, do look out for Modern Warfare 2 to hit store shelves November 10.
