PS3 - More Characters Revealed For Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe

During the recent Comic-Con event, Midway Games' Ed Boon and DC Comics' Jimmy Palmiotti have a few interesting announcements that pleased all gamers who were looking forward to Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (PS3, Xbox 360). Apparently, four more characters (two on each side) are available to play on the game, and they've all got quite an interesting array of gameplay mechanics to shake things up a bit.

According to the respective reps, the Joker and Green Lantern will be the new addition to the game's DC side, while Mortal Kombat will get some help from Jax and Kitana. What's really interesting is that Jimmy Palmiotti will also be part of the game as an unlockable character. More details are yet to be revealed though regarding his final look would be like and how to get him in the game.

Aside from that, an MK vs. DC comic book was also announced during the same event. It will include a limited edition of the game, and John Tobias (which is Mortal Kombat's co-creator) will illustrate the book. As for the rest of the game's info like final roster and final boss, you'd have to wait as more details are set to be revealed as the launching date is approaching.
