PS3 - More Detail On New Folklore Add-Ons

The latest and final add-on pack for Game Republic's PlayStation 3 exclusive title Folklore has just been released. Just like the previous add-on packs and downloadable content, it will come with various new missions, creatures, and costumes that are available for the game's protagonists.

The 5th add-on pack called Nightmares from Game Republic and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) introduced into the series a new robotic Folk that can spew beams of hot magma. Also, there's a new quest that is tied with the game's storyline in which you can partake in. Aside from that, you'll also get a new quest that will let you uncover as to why Livane attacked a tree, finish the Faery Photo mission if you bought “The Origin Of Belgae” pack, and wear a top hat with matching tuxedo.

Add-on #6 titled “Visions of the Tower” is where Ellen gets a pink-haired Folk with mushrooms on her feet, a very hot outfit, and various other quests for Ellen and Keats. Here, you'll get to play as a detective and unveil the secrets of the tower. When you receive a letter, you'll get to embark on a new quest until you uncover the Faery Lord's true intentions.

Game Republic has failed to give details as to the price of the add-on pack though, but expect it to be around US 3.99 per pack and US 5.99 for the bundle, just as before. Supposedly, this is the final batch of DLC for Folklore, but associate producer Eric Fong has hinted in the PlayStation Blog update that they might come up with another if the fans make it necessary.
