PS3 - More Games Getting Integrated Into Home
Following Sony's recent PlayStation Home integration movement, they have decided to bring two more titles into the community-based service it has been promoting for several months now. The titles in question are Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Insomniac Games' Resistance: Fall of Man.
These two games will feature Home integration, that will allow players to explore the respective game's levels with the use of your Home avatars, minus the possibility of being shot, blown up, or even eaten. Aside from that, you can also expect each title to have their own unique Home quirks that Sony will be giving as an added bonus to extend each player's gaming experience.
For Uncharted, Kotaku has mentioned that it will feature a side-scrolling 2D shooter mini-game. The Kotaku sources have mentioned that it will be quite similar with the old-school games like Contra and Out of this World, and a bit of a Bionic Commando flavor.
Meanwhile, the Resistance Home integration will enable players to explore the game's Campaign mode for additional content – something that you wouldn't normally do when playing on the single or multiplayer modes.
This added bonus features will certainly breathe new life into some of the older titles gamers haven't played in a while. And in this note, we'll have to see what will be Sony's next move with other possible Home integration plan in the coming future.
