PS3 - Motorstorm PS3 Bundle Officially Discontinued
Sony has just recently announced that their 80GB PlayStation 3 Motorstorm Bundle has been discontinued in North America. Sony has issued an official statement where the manufacturer said that “retailers aren't getting any new inventory of the 80GB Motorstorm bundle.”
But if you want a bigger hard drive, no need to worry about that. You can expect the more SKUs to be produced in time. But Sony is focusing on their upcoming 80GB PS3 bundle that has the DualShock 3 controller and includes a copy of Konami's upcoming Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
If you are getting this all mixed up, let me clear things out first. The MGS4 80GB PS3 bundle is different from the Gun Metal gray limited edition PS3 which is being offered in Konami's site. The limited edition bundle from Konami has a 40GB hard drive with a different finish, DualShock 3, a copy of MGS4 and a few goodies as well.
This might be a better move for Sony, knowing that Motorstorm has been around for some time now and with Evolution Studios' Motorstorm: Pacific Rift's slated release by the end of this year. More updates as we have them!
