PS3 - Music Peripheral Compatibility Coming Soon!
Some good news to be had yesterday from Sony's official US blog. Michael Shorrock, Director of Public Relations at SCEA, said he has been in talks with Activision, Neversoft, Harmonix and Konami to make sure there is basic compatibility between the various instruments.
What does this mean for you? If you already have a Guitar Hero: World Tour guitar you will be able to use it on Rock Band 2 and Rock revolution. Likewise for the other instruments for other games.
No word on just when this will happen but it's good to see someone step in and get everyone to play nice. There will also be an announcement in the near future regarding compatibility between the games already released. We'll bring that to you when more info is given.
