PS3 - MX vs ATV: Untamed - X-Cross Tournament Details

In his diary entry, developer Elliot Olson details about a championship game for MX vs. ATV: Untamed (360, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS) The X-Cross Tournament. The tournament features quite a variety of races, plus two new gameplay modes: opencross and endurocross.

The S-Cross tournament offers you just about everything in the eight different racing series included in this game. In the first part of the race, you have three choices: supercross, nationals and the all-new opencross. For the supercross, you are pitted against 11 other players in a freestyle mode where you can do different tricks and combos.

The national tracks also gives you a wide variety of choices, whether to go offroad in 10 various areas or on-pavement in supermoto events. It is in the new opencross mode where you get to compete in long off-road races. Different types of vehicles may go up against each other at any time during this race.

And to top things off, in the endurocross you will get to compete with not only fellow racers but with off-road elements like rocks and mud.
