PS3 - "Needlemouse Will Please Hardcore Gamers": Sega
Sega teased about an all new 2D Sonic game last month, which they dubbed only as Project Needlemouse. And Sega France's Franck Sebastien has recently described in an interview the target audience for the game.
He states: “The idea really is to finally please all these hardcore gamers because we love them at Sega. We’re still doing a lot of games for hardcore gamers so we’re really happy that they are around.”
Currently, Project Needlemouse is being pegged for a 2010 release. However, Sebastien failed to identify the platform at which the new Sonic game will be released. But you can probably expect it to hit both PSN and XBL.
