PS3 - New Blu-Ray Movie Releases This Week

Compared to the previous Blu-Ray releases, this week's batch is considerably different and it's a smaller batch. But no need to be disappointed- what this week's batch lacks in numbers, it makes up for quality and they come in great varieties as well.

There are two animated Japanese films and a psychological thriller. First off, Charlton Heston's The Omega Man is taken from the same novel from which the upcoming flick by Will Smith (I Am Legend) was also based on, which is Richard Matheson's Neville. The story focuses on how the last man earth fights to save the human race while trying to keep himself from going down the drain towards insanity.

Next up is a more recent film which is a sci-fi animated movie called Paprika, which is also based on a novel by Yasutaka Tsutsui of the same name. It is quite like the same with the PSP title Crush. It is about a psychotherapy machine that scientists have invented, but trouble starts to unfold as soon as the machine gets stolen.

Another Japanese animated film included in the list is Jin-Roh: The Wolf Bridge. This film is an adaptation of Mamoru Oshii's manga, Ken-Roh Densetsu. It centers on Kazuki Fuse, who is a military police that had tried to shut down his human emotions to become effective as a soldier.

Here is the complete list for this week's Blu-Ray titles:

- Paprika (Sony Pictures)
- The Omega Man (Warner Bros.)
- I Know Who Killed Me (Sony Pictures)
- Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade (Bandai Visual)
