PS3 - New Blu-Ray Releases (Feb.4-10/ 08)

With this week's list of Blu-Ray releases breaking the more-than-ten barrier, expect to find some real exciting goodies. If you think that quantity might outweigh quality in this week's batch, then worry no more. With the great variety of genre, and sub-genre, something should be able to entice you for one lengthy movie session.

Of course there's an offering of comedy, action, drama/romance, drama, courtroom drama, romantic comedy, and a Western drama. But aside from that, you also have a documentary and a concert, if you feel like you wanted to try something different. Expect to find a couple titles from Image Entertainment despite the fact that two titles were pushed back for a couple more weeks.

Let's take a closer look at a few titles that are gracing this week's list:

Jesse James was such an icon way back in 1870 as the soldier who became an outlaw. This 2007 film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford was based on a novel written by Rob Hansen. Another film, called Crimson Tide, features such talented actors as Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman. It is a film set in a submarine deployed to keep a Russian extremist from firing nuclear weapons that could eventually lead to World War III.

Lastly, there's a slightly different atmosphere you can expect to find in Me, Myself and Irene. Featuring the ever-talented Jim Carey, it takes you through the crazy adventures of a state trooper trying to deal with his split personality disorder as he soon finds out they are challenging each other for the girl (Irene, played by Renee Zellweger).
