PS3 - New Clubs, Staduims Confirmed For PES 2009

After the announcement of both Manchester United and Liverpool as fully licensed teams for PES 2009, Konami has also revealed additional clubs to compete in this football game.

The confirmed clubs for the game are as follows: F.C. Barcelona and Real Madrid from Spain, Italy's Inter Milan, Portugal’s F.C. Porto, Denmark's Brondby IF, and Zenit St Petersburg, which was UEFA Cup winners for the last season. Aside from that, a few national sides also had a licensed treatment, including stadiums such as Wembley, Stade de France and Stadio Olimpico di Torino.

To top it all off, there is a four-year licensing agreement between Konami and UEFA for the European Champion’s League. Look out for PES 2009 to be released on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on the 17th of October for Europe. Meanwhile, the US release has been set for November.
