PS3 - New Firmware Available

Sony has released a new firmware for the PS3 today. This update brings the version up to 2.35.

According to Sony this update is a fix to address performance in some PS3 games. While some have speculated that Grand Theft Auto IV is the target, Sony has made it clear that this isn't the case.

The update is available now via the System Update in the PS3's Settings menu. For those that don't have their PS3 connected online/ prefer to download the update via the Pc we will provide a link when available from Sony.
