PS3 - New Firmware Release

Sony has just made available yet another firmware release for the PS3. The main purpose of this fix is to take care of compatibility issues with older televisions that go to 1080i resolution.
On a somewhat releated note there is also an upgrade to the PSP´s firmware to v3.02- odds are good this means the upgrades have a small part to play for the remote play capability between the PS and the 60 GB model PS3.
As of yet Sony´s download pages for these updates haven´t been changed- they are available directly through the System Update sections on the systems.
