PS3 - New Lord Of The Rings Game Announced
If you're not into the kiddie version of Lord of the Rings game, then listen up. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment unveils The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, the latest game to be based on the hit book and movie franchise.
According to Martin Tremblay, President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, “With The lord of the Rings: War in the North we are taking a mature approach to the widely celebrated property with authentic portrayals of battles and all new storylines. Utilizing the award-winning and passionate development team at Snowblind Studios, we are looking to evolve the RPG experience and deliver The Lord of the Rings game fans have been waiting for.”
An interdependent co-op play was also confirmed for the game, which will enable three players to form their own Fellowship and contend with Sauron. In addition, you can access upgradeable weapons, skills, and special abilities.
Although a release date still has to be set, you can expect The Lord of the Rings: War in the North to come out on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
