PS3 - New Yakuza Game Already In Development

Way back in February, the release of Yakuza 3 in Japan made quite a hit, selling as much as 300,000 copies during the first week. This helped boost sales for the PS3 hardware in the region.

Sega is hoping to capitalize on this success as Famitsu has just confirmed that a new Yakuza game is being developed. Although details are still scarce, PS3 gamers can be assured that the game will hit the said console. This new game will serve as prequel wherein the story of a younger Kazuma Kiryu will be unveiled. This will also mark Toshihiro Nagoshi's return as a producer.
