PS3 - No Demo Coming For Unreal Tournament III
While PC gamers will be treated to three levels of Unreal Tournament 3 goodness, PS3 gamers will not be experiencing the same thing as the demo for the game will not be offered in the PS3. The news was confirmed by Epic Games VP Mark Rein in a recent press event.
Apparently, Epic Games wanted to focus on finishing the game since Sony required a stamp of approval before releasing a particular game. The same process also applies for demos. So instead of taking the time to develop a demo that will gain a certification from Sony, they utilized the time to work on the game itself.
Meanwhile, PC gamers will surely take the opportunity to see what the game is about as PS3 owners patiently wait for the game's official release.
