PS3 - No Local Co-Op In Uncharted 2
Several eyes are turned on the upcoming sequel for Naughty Dog's hit franchise, Uncharted 2. In a recent talk with Sony as posted over the official PlayStation blog, fans got a handful of information about the game straight from Naughty Dog's Evan Wells himself. The interview revealed nothing of significance though, only providing clues to future announcements.
Here is one disappointing bit of information, however:

Evan Wells: “We are only supporting online multiplayer. We didn't want to compromise the visuals going from single player to multiplayer and to include a split screen option at this time would have meant making that sacrifice.”

There has been several games that have overlooked the importance of local co-op in the game. Uncharted 2 would have been the perfect game to exemplify this mechanic, but they certainly didn't think so. More information about the game soon as we have them.
