PS3 - No News Conference This Week, Says Sony
Representatives from Sony Europe denied reports talking about a supposed press conference that will announce the release of a new 40GB PS3 model.
According to rumors, the alleged “Big Bang” meeting was set to be held Friday this week. A Sony spokesperson said that there are no talks within the company regarding such matters.
But the rumors just won't seem to let up, despite the statement released by Sony officials. In fact, some sources on the internet have reported that the said electronics company has filed the new model with the FCC. This yet unconfirmed SKU has appeared among the list of Blu-Ray players, along with the 60GB and 80GB units.
