PS3 - No PS3 Assassin's Creed In Japan?
The Xbox 360 version for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) will hit Japanese stores on the 29th of November, meanwhile there is no confirmation made yet with regards the PS3 version of the game. Although there seems to be no problem with versions for both platforms, there is no listing for a release of the game's PS3 version in Ubisoft's Japanese website.
This does not mean that the game will become an Xbox exclusive, although it would be interesting to note that the game has earned a mature rating in Japan. Meanwhile, Microsoft's next-gen console has earned the most number of mature rated games in Japan, so it could be possible that Ubisoft is aiming more mature games on the Japanese Xbox 360 demographic.
We'll just have to wait and see then if this game should come out in the PS3.
