PS3 - Novastrike Update Now Available

Those of you that had purchased the PSN downloadable game Novastrike (or those that held off while waiting for this to happen) are in for some good news- they have just released the long-promised update that brings in a few upgrades.

Among the updates to the game are a slight lowering of the difficulty level (one of the main knocks to the game) as well as the allowing of playing custom tunes and customizable controls.

The big thing, however, that some would be looking for is trophies. That's right, Novastrike now has trophy support! Here is a listing of all the trophies available as well as how to get them:

Bronze
* Heralder No More: Destroy a Heralder aircraft on any difficulty
* Broken Falchion: Shoot down a Falchion aircraft on any difficulty
* Champion of Praxor: Finish the second stage on any difficulty
* Destroyer: Destroy 500 aerial opponents on any difficulty
* Defender of Khara: Finish the fourth stage on any difficulty
* Ground Sweeper: Destroy 200 Draelus ground structures on any difficulty
* Searer Extinguished: Destroy the Searer on Tolak on any difficulty
* Master of Arms: Unlock the final ship on any difficulty
* Savior of Tolak: Finish the sixth stage on any difficulty
* plus three hidden trophies

Silver
* Challenger: Defeat the game on RECRUIT difficulty or higher
* Reckoning Force: Defeat the game on SOLDIER difficulty or higher
* Unstoppable: Defeat the game on VETERAN difficulty or higher
* Legendary: Defeat the game on HARDCORE difficulty
