PS3 - Paramount To Increase Their Gaming Prescence
Alex Carloss, general manager of worldwide distribution at Paramount Digital, said in a statement to MCV UK that the gaming industry will soon be able to hear more of Paramount in games aside from high definition format avenue. This statement stemmed after Viacom, Paramount's parent company, was brought into the topic when Carloss expressed pride over the many intellectual properties and mediums their mother company owns.
These intellectual properties are currently licensed to some of the video game giants such as Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Activision. Meanwhile, Sierra Entertainment's The Spiderwick Chronicles, a video game adaptation of a movie of the same title, is one of its most recent IP licenses.
Paramount aims to go further than that as it wants to create a more significant presence in the gaming industry. While Carloss has failed to reveal specific details as of now, we'll just have to wait for more official announcements soon.
