PS3 - PAX 2008 Collection Hits Rock Band, Helps Charity
If you attended the Penny Arcade Expo, then you might have witnessed those artists who rocked out during the event!
If you wanted to get more of that experience, then delight as Harmonix and MTV Games deliver the treat right to your living room. Apparently, tracks from three of the bands who performed at the recent PAX 2008 event will be released as a DLC for Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360).
Expect these tracks to arrive on the Xbox Live Marketplace today, while the ones over at PlayStation Network will arrive on Thursday:
*Jonathan Coulton - "Skullcrusher Mountain"
*MC Frontalot - "Livin' on the Corner of Dude and Catastrophe"
*Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - "Shhh "
You can get each track for 99 cents or 80 Microsoft Points for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, respectively. Meanwhile, if you want to get the entire set of tracks, also called the “PAX 2008 Collection”, you will need US 2.99 for that. The proceeds for all the tracks will be donated to the Penny Arcade-run Child's Play Charity, which has been making donations to children's hospitals across North America.
