PS3 - Pirates Of The Caribbean RPG Coming

Disney Interactive Studios has a new project as revealed by Game Director Alex Peters himself. This new action RPG that Disney is working on is actually Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

One detail about the game that past gamers of the franchise need to know is that the game will be set in the same world but before the events of the film versions. When Alex Peters was asked about the movie characters making an appearance in the game, he said: “The original story takes place before and separate from the films, but being part of the universe means anything is possible."

As for the gameplay, it features exploration since each character are assigned their own story that you can follow. Peters add, “We want to entice players to explore hidden coves, mysterious inlets and intriguing islands.”

There are also ship, combat, and upgrade systems available in the game. Just wait up for further announcements to get more specific details on the game.
