PS3 - Play Asia Cancels Preorders
Following the closure of Lik-Sang due to lawsuits levied against it by Sony over imports of their systems another import company, Play Asia, has cancelled all preorders for the PlayStation 3 made on their site. In an e-mail sent out yesterday they cited ¨licensing and distribution limitations¨ as the reason.
¨As a result, we are very sorry to let you know that we have now cancelled your non-binding reservation with us,¨ the email continues. ¨Rest assured, as this was a ¨no money down¨ reservation only, no funds have been debited in any way.¨
Meantime all PS3 item pages have been changed to read ¨preorders closed¨. This comes less than a week after the closure of their former competition. It´s looking like anyone wanting the pS3 are being left no choice but to wait for the official date for their area.
