PS3 - PlayStation Store Update for Sept. 6/ 07
Once again it is time to list the various new items made available for download in the PlayStation Store. This week gives us a pretty solid assortment with game add-ons, demos and videos.
The biggest item here is probably the additional items for Motorstorm. Now available is the Motorstorm Revenge Weekend which includes a new track (Coyote Revenge), three new race tickets (making for about a dozen more races), a new online mode (Eliminator- the racer in last place gets eliminated each lap) and a new vehicle in each class with three styles of each. The vehicles can be purchased separately if you do not want the entire package- it is recommended to go into Motorstorm's online mode and download any updates available there first before grabbing these items.
An additional gameplay mode is also available to buy for Ninja Gaiden Sigma entitled "Weapons Master". Using a limited assortment of weaponry the task is to eliminate as many enemies as possible. There are a total of 5 modes available as well as online rankings to see how you match up against the rest of the world.
On to the freebies! We have a number of game videos added- the fifth (and final) episode of the animated Heavenly Sword prequel features as well as a video highlighting the new race track mentioned above for Motorstorm, another "making of" feature for Heavenly Sword, Turok "Quiet Kills", Lair "World in Chaos" and a video showcasing the upcoming PSN downloadable game PixelJunk racers.
On the demo front we have two more to choose from. Those of you looking for some action on the hard court will be interested in the NBA Live 08 demo. As for those who prefer their action a bit more like an action movie a demo of John Woo's Stranglehold is now available. This video game sequel to the movie Hard Boiled has players controlling Inspector Tequila (Chow-Yun Fat's character from Hard Boiled) as he blasts his way through the criminal underworld in typical Woo-like action sequences.
Two movie trailers added this week as well- we have the trailer for Resident Evil: Extinction, the latest chapter in the Resident Evil movie series starring Milla Jovovich, as well as a trailer for Drillbit Taylor. Drillbit is a comedy starring Owen Wilson playing a down-on-his-luck soldier of fortune who is turned to for protection from a school bully by three friends starting high school.
No new PSN downloadable games this week, for those who are wondering. Even so, this looks like another solid week for updates in the store- there should be something for just about everyone here!

Currently our most popular pages include the PS2 cheats for FIFA 2007 and Lego Star Wars 2 cheats, with Bully cheats for PS2 and Guitar Hero 2 cheats for the Playstation 2 coming a close second. Fans of Need for Speed Carbon on the PS2 will be pleased to see that its racing up the charts too.

You forgot the BIG addition of the Gran Turismo HD video from the Leipzig Games Convention.
I would think that was most definitely worth mentioning :-)
I am going by the North American stores for this report, Jay- we didn't get that over here this week.
I did, however, miss seeing some other items in our store- I'll be adding them in.
