PLAYSTATION STORE EUROPE UPDATE

PS3 owners can now downloaded the following free items:

- Jerico Trailer

...and the following paid items:

- PSone game MediEvil (plays on both PS3 and PSP) - 3.49 GBP
- PSone game Syphon Filter (plays on both PS3 and PSP) - 3.49 GBP
- PS3 game LocoRoco interactive screensaver (part game, part screensaver) - 1.99 GBP

USA PLAYSTATION STORE UPDATE

PS3 owners can now downloaded the following free items:

- Skate PS3 game demo
- Stuntman PS3 game demo
- Sega Rally PS3 game demo
- NBA 2008 PS3 game demo and trailer
- Devil May Cry PS3 game trailer
- Gran Turismo 5 PS3 game trailer

Must admit, I was hoping for a high resolution version of the new Metal Gear Solid video from the Tokyo game show, but hopefully that will be added very soon.

When you compare the two updates, it really does seem like Sony are now really taking the European market seriously at the moment... higher prices for hardware and software and much less content on the PSN.

Strange move considering the imminent arrival of Halo on the 360, don't you think ?

Anyway, all of the USA demo's are multi-region, so if you (theoretically) set up another account with a US address, you can be playing all of these demo's tonight !
