PS3 - PS3 Bayonetta Outselling XBox 360 Version In Japan
Although the Xbox 360 is the lead platform for Bayonetta, it is somewhat of a surprise how the PS3 version of Sega's action title is selling more than Microsoft's video game console in Japan. Indeed, Japanese gamers prefer the PS3 version a lot such that its overall sales double that of the Xbox sales.
During the launching of the game in Japan, the PS3 version sold 95,000 copies, whereas the Xbox 360 version paled in comparison with only 45,000 copies sold. This is despite Famitsu rating the 360 version higher than the PS3, which apparently did not influence the Japanese gamers' buying decision.
