PS3 - PS3 Platform Of Choice For PES 2010 Players
Previously, Xbox 360 alloted for a majority of the multiplatform sales in the market. But with the release of the latest Pro Evolution Soccer from Konami, the PS3 emerged as the clear platform of choice for gamers.
Sales for the PS3 version of PES 2010 accounted for 66 percent for the overall sales for the game, with Xbox 360 claiming only 32 percent of the total sales. After one week of sales, the PC version only claimed 2 percent.
Many critics point this to the exclusive release of Forza Motorsport 3 on the Xbox 360 this week, which landed on the second spot in the All Formats Charts.
But despite proving successful on the UK charts, PES 2010 actually pale in comparison to PES 2009's sales, which showed a drop of about 39 percent in sales during the first week.
