PS3 - Ratchet & Clank Future DualShock 3- Compatible Day 1
According to Sony, games like Ratchet & Clank has been listed among those games that are DualShock3 ready in the official “List of PS3 Games That Support the DualShock3”. By becoming DualShock3 ready, this means that the game will not require a software update.
Ratchet & Clank will be the first game to support the new controller sans software update and it was initially scheduled for release October 30. However, the DualShock3 won't be hitting Japanese retailers until November 11, so Ratchet & Clank Future might experience a slight delay due to this.
And if that wasn't bad enough, it will actually prove to be more difficult to find an importer with one in stock.

Just wanted to note that the possibility of a delay on the game will be in Japan only, seeing as the DS3 isn't coming to other regions until sometime in 2008.
