PS3 - Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer Details Revealed
Rockstar Games has set a multiplayer reveal for Red Dead Redemption this April. And while fans are aching to get those updates, the first batch of multiplayer details is now out.
In the latest issue of Gamer.nl Magazine, a few suspected multiplayer details were revealed. According to the magazine, the game will not have a multiplayer lobby but will instead feature a free-roaming mode. According to the details from the mag:
“Read Dead Redemption has an extensive multiplayer mode. Instead of a lobby, it begins with a free-roaming multiplayer mode where players can run freely through the game world. They can form gangs with other players they meet there, and this transition can be computer controlled bandits.”
In addition, players will be able to hunt and horse keep. You can also expect regular multiplayer modes like deathmatch, capture the flag, and a Gold Rush mode that will require gamers to collect bags of gold, as they fight against their enemies.
The North American release of Red Dead Redemption has been set on May 18, while PAL regions will get it on the 21st.
