PS3 - Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition Launching As DLC
When Capcom seeked out opinion via its official community forum about whether they should release a DLC or a separate game for the Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition, they got the answer they needed. Gamers opted for a DLC and so the publisher is giving onto what the consumers wanted. They therefore decide to offer this version as a DLC.
Good news since you won't have to pay for an entirely new package only to avail of new features, which includes a playable sequence and motion control support. Sadly though, if you decided to trade your copy of Resident Evil 5, they you cannot avail of this.
As of now, no pricing details have been revealed for the DLC yet. However, Capcom did pinpoint a Spring 2010 release for both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
